There are two specific areas of risk that we will discuss: Legal Risk and Commercial Risk.

LEGAL RISK (including Intellectual Property)

You are dealing with Flat Planet (Australia) Pty Ltd. All contracts are signed on our paper, and all of them are subject to the full body of Australian corporate law. If we don't meet our obligations - we are sitting in Sydney, within easy reach, subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the NSW courts.

This is a very important distinction. By contracting with a company that is incorporated in a developing nation, where all the directors are domiciled in a developing nation, you are exposing yourself to an amount of risk equal to the full scope of the project plus beyond.

Intellectual Property is probably the single most important issue here. By dealing with Flat Planet you will be able to maintain a full legal audit trail on all your intellectual property.

COMMERCIAL RISK
